Well its that time of year again where I am mainlining Baileys and mulled wine trying to convince myself that its not because I have a drink problem but because its the festive thing to do! However despite the demands of a working full time and dealing with the annus horriblus that has been 2021, I did manage to find some time to visit Kenwood House and have some festive fun! Obviously the fact that they had mulled wine was not the only draw, it also has gorgeous installations dotted around that gives visitors a chance to see this beautiful park and stately home in a different light.
The lead up to Christmas is always super busy and in the mad rush to get the tree up, beautify the house and find the perfect outfit for all the seasonal parties its easy to forget that in an ideal world Christmas is a time for slowing down and appreciating all the things that you already have. At this stage in my life, I'm personally trying to minimise the amount of stuff that I have so why should I inflict more stuff on my friends and family! So this year, I plan to give more experiential or consumable gifts and am on the hunt for a really good homemade chocolate truffle recipe.
This time of year is also a really good time for a reset and think about goals fore the forthcoming year. I have lots of new and exciting content planned which I cant wait to share with you guys. But if you have any things that you would love to see here, drop a comment.
So, what do you guys have planned? Whats your idea of a perfect Christmas? I will be spending it with 11 members of my family and will finally get to meet the newest member of my family who arrived in September and I am beyond excited! However you plan to spend it, whatever your plans, I hope that it is filled with family, friends & fun! Or if your idea of the perfect Christmas is phone off and a solitary duvet day binge watching Squid Game on Netflix, I wish that for you! Merry Christmas & A Happy New Year!
